Francisco González del Pino. Llega a Córdoba, allá por el año 60 para hacerse cargo de las cátedras de química orgánica y analítica, procedente de Bélgica, luego de un tiempo en Montevideo, lugar donde se encontraba. Sus ojos azules, recorren el patio de ingreso en Trejo, pensando tal vez: ¿Cuánto tiempo estaré en este lugar? Lejos estaba de imaginarse que esas aulas serían parte del resto de su vida y que este país, de ahí en más, seria una patria nueva que le abría sus brazos. Con el castellano, que recién estaba conociendo y con el fuerte acento de su francés natal, comienza el dictado de sus clases a un grupo de quienes serían luego los primeros egresados de esta Facultad, por entonces Escuela de Farmacia y Bioquímica. Metódico y organizado imprime en el dictado de sus clases una sistemática distinta a la que hasta entonces se aplicaba en esta Universidad, Impone su fuerte personalidad frente al alumno que desde los comienzos le demuestra un marcado respeto, incluso diría temor. Temor que con el correr de los años se va desacralizando como consecuencia de un conocimiento mas profundo de su persona y a su vez, porque también él, va comprendiendo un estilo de vida muy distinto al que estaba acostumbrado. La consecuencia de este cambio se manifiesta en que si bien exige y exprime al alumno, este comienza a estimarlo, quererlo y termina admirándolo. Es que su cátedra era un entrenamiento no solo sobre la materia sino un entrenamiento de vida profesional. Seguro que muchos que se fueron lejos y al verse solos sin cordón umbilical que los ate a algún profesor a quién consultar, le agradecieron desde lo mas íntimo aquella exigencia. Como lógica consecuencia del conocimiento que va tomando de la Facultad y de su compenetración con ella, es que llega primero al Vicedecanato y luego de un impase al Decanato, cuando la Escuela de Farmacia y Bioquímica ya se había transformado en la Facultad de Ciencias Químicas. Como Decano imprime a la Facultad las características de su personalidad metódica y organizada, actualiza los planes de estudio y proyecta a la misma hacia la comunidad, creando el CIQAPA, Centro de Investigación de Química Analítica Pura y Aplicada, para la realización de distintos trabajos para terceros. No solo en la docencia había concentrado sus esfuerzos, sino también en la investigación y desarrollo de proyectos, el estudio del agua de la Mar Chiquita fue uno de ellos. Se incorporan a este escrito los siguientes datos, extraídos de la semblanza escrita por la Mgter. Adriana Welter: Joseph y Rose, partieron en 1951 hacia Uruguay en América del Sur, con su hija Micheline Capel y su reciente esposo Juan Gastón René Durigneux, nacido en el pueblo de Mons, Bélgica, el 14 de abril de 1924 que se perfilaba como un joven amante de las ciencias. Así obtuvo en la Universidad Libre de Bruselas, su título profesional de Farmacéutico que lo acompañó en su aventura, sumado a su gran inteligencia. Al llegar a Montevideo, fue acogido en el Liceo Francés como docente en Matemática, Física y Química en francés, muy lejos del español local que con los años fue aprendiendo y asimilando como propio. Joseph y Rose relataron al Padre Jean Sonet sj, que habían dejado en Uruguay a su hija, junto a su esposo y la pequeña Brigitte, su primera nietita, y que sería maravilloso que la vida los volviera a reunir. Así fue, como el Padre Jean Sonet sj, invita al joven Juan Gastón René Durigneux, a integrarse al cuerpo docente de la UCC, y su primer nombramiento fue en marzo del año 1960, como Jefe de Trabajos Prácticos y Profesor Encargado de las asignaturas Química Orgánica I y II; Analítica I y II; Análisis Instrumental, para bioquímicos y farmacéuticos y Química Analítica Aplicada en la Licenciatura en Química Industrial. Además, de todos estos cargos asumió otro de rol superior, fue padre de Verónica, su segunda hija. Finalmente, en 1966 es nombrado Profesor Titular de las asignaturas antes mencionadas, hasta su retiro. Rápidamente, el Padre Jean Sonet sj, descubre en Juan Gastón René Durigneux, los valores, las convicciones, la metodología, la exigencia para consigo mismo y en las aulas.
